Is this real-money trading?
No. Apex is a paper-trading and journaling cockpit. Live broker connectors are disabled by default and gated behind explicit opt-in (Phase 5).
Do I need market data API keys?
Not for Apex. Pro features benefit from Polygon or Alpaca keys for real-time data. The app runs in mock mode without keys.
